At the Tea Pot you'll find a lot of laughter (mostly the proprietor to herself).

Prices: Tea, treats (chocolate zucchini cake, butter tarts, rhubarb cake and typically around Christmas, peanut butter balls) - the price is a good conversation and some laughs.
Setting: Nestled in a cute (Hallmark movie) town, The Tea Pot has a lovely patio and a very comfortable lounge. This is a place where you can sit with your feet up and feel like you are visiting family.
The owner is a funny woman who now works completely from home and isn't sure how she will be alone all day, every day and not go mad. She really needs to share her stories with people because she loves to talk. She has stories of small town people sightings and of the lovely places to walk and hike in Almonte and would love to share them with you. Just yesterday she was out for a lunchtime walk and encountered an older woman walking her 3 cat sized dogs. She crossed the street to where the owner was walking and proceeded to talk to her. She told the proprietor that the ginormous Halloween decoration scared her at night because its eyes changed colour. Can't really blame her. Then she proceeded to say that she felt something was "off" about the town. What??? Because people put up Halloween decorations? She is from a city in a different province and I wonder what made her move here to our cute little town.
At The Tea Pot you will find a sympathetic ear, a shoulder to lean on, laughs when you need them, delicious tea and treats or wine at any time of the day.
